What To Expect

Aside from a full set of CrossFit equipment, what else do you need? In reality, this set is the cream of the crop on the market. Not only do you get everything you need, from a barbell and weights to ropes and heavy balls, but you also get it with the high quality Rogue Fitness name behind it.

If you want to take the time to individually piece together all of this equipment, that may save you money upfront. Without a doubt, dropping almost $3,000 on a set of CrossFit equipment isn’t a luxury that most people have.

However, if you plan on getting all of this equipment sooner or later, you’ll certainly save money by just making the initial investment. Keep in mind that if you buy this product directly from Rogue, then you qualify for free shipping. That alone is a few hundred bucks that you’ll be saving and you can put that towards chicken breast and other food for your diet.

Alpha CrossFit Equipment Package

crossfit-alpha-long-web-h1

If your wife won’t let you drop the cash on the Warrior package, consider trying to present the option of the less expensive Alpha Equipment Packages. This package will still allow you to get a solid foundation to start your CrossFit gym, but it’ll only run you about $1,500.

Here is a look at what you get for that price:

  • Ohio Bar
  • Set of Rogue HG Collars
  • 320lb Rogue HG Bumper Set – Same confirmation as the Warrior, with the exception of the steel plates
  • Two 35lbs Rogue Kettlebells
  • Two 53lbs Rogue Kettlebells
  • Set of Rogue Rings
  • Your choice of a Dynamax Ball of up to 20lbs
  • Climbing rope that measures at 20’x1.5’
  • Rogue SR-3 Speed Rope

The Bottom Line

As you can see, you won’t be getting a few different inclusions with this package. Most noticeably, the Alpha package doesn’t come with Parallettes or a D-Ball. However, we mentioned in a previous review that you can make a set of Parallettes on your own and you could even consider picking up a D-Ball to save some extra money there as well.

You certainly don’t get the sheer amount of equipment that is available with the Warrior package, but that’s not to say this isn’t an equally worthy investment. Instead, it is a perfect option for those who are looking for something a bit more price conscious, and it’s also a great choice for those who might be looking to save a bit of room in their garage or home gym as well.

Piecing this package together would run you upwards of $2,000 or more, so it’s obvious that you’ll save some money by just buying it all at once. If you are just starting out at CrossFit and hoping to allow your body to adjust to the training, then this is the set to do it with.

Bravo CrossFit Package

Lastly, the Bravo CrossFit Equipment Packages from Rogue is an even more basic set that you can grab for just over $1,000. If you are tight on finances or space, then there are no excuses when it comes to this set. After all, you can spend more than $1,000 on a bunch of other workout equipment that are sure to be much more inferior to this Rogue line.

Included in the set:

[unordered_list style=”tick”]

  • Ohio Bar
  • 230lb Rogue HG Bumper Set – Same confirmation as the Warrior, with the exception of the steel plates and you only get one set of 45lb bumpers
  • Set of Rogue HG Collars
  • One 35lbs Rogue Kettlebells
  • One 53lbs Rogue Kettlebells
  • Set of Rogue Rings
  • Your choice of a Dynamax Ball of up to 20lbs
  • Rogue SR-3 Speed Rope
  • Abmat

bravo CrossFit Equipment Packages

This Bravo Package Will Cause For An Encore

You’ll notice the obvious exclusion in this package is the SR03 Speed Rope. You also only get one 35lbs Rogue Kettlebell and one 53lbs Kettlebell. We’d have to argue that if you are looking to get into CrossFit, you are better off just spending the extra $200 to step your game up to the Alpha package. Instead, the Encore set may be good if you have a freestanding platform in your garage or home gym that you are looking to add to.

That is most likely to happen if you already have a barbell, bumpers and Kettlebells sitting around your gym. After all, having only 230 pounds in all of the bumper provided here is a nice warm-up, but if you are quickly trying to evolve and push your body you are going to want more for squats, deadlifts and other exercises that require more weight. This set is great as an addition to your gym, but if you are starting your new set, consider opting for a bigger set and make the extra $200 investment. You’ll be happy in the long run that you did.

Conclusion on these CrossFit Equipment Packages

There is no denying that Rogue Fitness knows what it is doing when it comes to CrossFit sets and equipment. Whether you are a true titan that deserves the Warrior Package, a growing beast that wants the Alpha package or a beginner who wants the Bravo package, you can’t go wrong in any area.

The true difference will come down to the space that you have in your garage or home gym and in your wallet. However, if you plan to expand in the near future, you may want to opt for at least the Alpha CrossFit Package.

Whatever you choose, prepare to have an awesome CrossFit set that will get the party started in your gym.
